Back in May, we shared with you the story of Missie. We received a call from Diepsloot about a dog who had been hit by a speeding car. Somehow she managed to drag herself back to her owner’s shack.
We rushed her to our vet, but sadly he leg was too badly damaged and had to be amputated.
The owner did not want her back, but we knew she was meant for something greater.
She came into our care and soon after that found the most amazing home! A family who saw her not as broken, but as perfect, and named her Missie.
Today Missie is thriving. She recently scored an incredible 97% in her obedience class as well as enjoyed a vacation at the beach.
From unwanted to unforgettable, Missie is now living her best life with a family who adores her.
